Þ Thor rune

Meaning of Þ Thor

The rune is sacred to Loki, the god of strength and power. When the right side is up, Thor is considered to be a rune of negative changes. It can suggest a life full of problems, this rune is not a positive omen. It predicts many misunderstandings, fights, and thoughts of a diverse nature. Some link this rune to Thor’s hammer. It also symbolizes unrealistic thinking.

One will gain strength by thinking about the past. In life, a thorn is sharp and dangerous to touch. That is why it denotes a negative meaning. It is associated with an undesirable situation that may just come and bite at an unknown time. Þ is also linked to the hammer of Þórr, the one that protects Asgard from the Thurses and demons. Therefore, if its energies are an outcome of corrupt and violent rule, behind this rune is the secret of intelligence.

On a more positive note, Þórr is also known as the god of strength and courage, a god that helped humans gain freedom from evil. It also denotes fertility in a way that it turns a hard rock-like surface into a ploughable land that signifies positivity and signs of life.

Curiosity and enthusiasm are the best mindsets when receiving this rune, instead of a mind filled with fear and animosity, it is vital to work in a positive mindset. Think clearly to diminish dangers and allow more worthy ideas to flow freely into one’s mind and heart. Thor suggests avoiding a fight or misunderstanding, but also advises that if a conflict has already started, to have the determination to find peace. The message is to aim to finish problems with a positive approach – learn something from them. For this rune to come out reversed, it's not a positive sign. It signifies possible dangers.

Þórr is also known as Thurisaz.
It means “thornbush.”

The Þ rune represents Mjollnir, which is the hammer of Þórr. This is the god associated with thunder, the trigram ☳ (震 zhèn) shake = (雷) thunder, or the hexagram 51 named 震 (zhèn), "Shake", "the arousing (shock, thunder)"; "thunder, excite, thrill, convulse, and tremor" as the advice is to maintain one's concentration ("one did not lose the sacrificial wine in the ladle"). In Norse folklore, the hammer represents being a striker. Like Þórr himself, the rune is connected to protection, vitality and also strength. The other important aspect of this rune is that it can represent misfortune and problems with success.

This rune can be viewed as a good and bad sign. It denotes conflict, defence, destruction, and reactive force, on one side, and fertilization, regeneration, vital eroticism and survival instinct, on the other. Þ symbolizes the inner will to change and change for the better.

Or worse, depending on how one feels at the moment. This stone denotes life storm, betrayal, hatred, dullness, defenselessness, torment, danger, evil, malice, destruction, and strength.

However, when this stone appears, it means that one is scared of certain obstacles or changes that are taking place in life at the moment. Guided by vengeance and hatred that are killing the soul. The person probably feels lost and numb. It is a poison that comes with the reward of getting revenge and hating people who deserve that hatred. This is why this rune stands for depression, self-hate, and self-destruction. If one allows inner demons to take over the spirit and guide their actions, one will become sad and helpless.

As mentioned, this rune can be considered as a positive and negative sign that predicts danger, destruction, evil, defenselessness, powerlessness, hatred and dullness. Getting the reversal of this rune means that one is guided by these things. On the positive side, this rune denotes regeneration, survival instinct, and fertilization. This means that with the control of inner demons, one will give themself a chance for a new beginning, regeneration, change, and rebirth. Individuals will become more productive if they focus on themselves instead of focusing on the negative aspects of life and punishing bad people who have done them wrong.

Drawing this rune, people might probably doubt whether to listen to their gut and apply some major changes in their life or continue the path that they are walking and live a domesticated life. Since Þ stands for change, it appeared in people's lives to help them embrace change or apply themselves. One should not be afraid to jump into the unknown and enjoy the magic of life.

By choosing to live a simple domesticated life, one will not end up unhappy. However, one might end up full of regrets for not following their gut and bringing excitement into their lives.

Also, this rune should help people overcome a betrayal. What if someone we trusted failed us? It is not the end of the world. Every betrayal teaches us a lesson. The final decision should depend on intuition. Everyone’s heart can sense if a person deserves forgiveness or not. What does the gut say about this? Listen to it before making the same mistake twice. And no matter the decision, remember that we should forgive and forget. Otherwise, we welcome evil and disappointment into our hearts.

When it comes to love, getting this stone, means that we are not certain if someone’s being completely honest with us about something that matters to us. We are aware that every person has secrets. And if we want to be a part of someone’s future, we shall focus on making our present pleasant, instead of focusing on their past mistakes. Otherwise, we will lose the person forever.

One should enjoy solitude, travel alone in order to know oneself better and give oneself some time to accept oneself for who they are before one jumps into a relationship. Applying this lesson, we learn that solitude is not bad. Freedom matters more than relationships. Not that being in a relationship doesn’t come with benefits and can make us happy. It is just that people focus on their love life so much that they don’t have time to focus on themselves. They lose themselves while trying to find someone worthy of their love. Yes, romantic love matters. However, it’s not the most important thing in life.

For business, this rune should teach courage and determination.

Þ advice stands for change. So, let us change the way we communicate with people and give them enough time, space and freedom to express themselves. Or let us give them the silent treatment. In conflict with a family member when we are the one who is right, walk away and let them figure out why we left. And remember, we shall never explain ourselves to people when it comes to our personal choices and important decisions.

The Third Eye in Biology

The pineal gland represents the third eye in biology, which produces melatonin. Melatonin controls circadian rhythms and reproductive hormones. This makes the pineal a master regulator of time, affecting not only our sleep patterns but also our sexual maturation. Melatonin also affects our stress and ability to adapt to a changing world. This third eye activates when exposed to light, and has a number of biological functions in controlling the biorhythms of the body. It works in harmony with the hypothalamus gland which directs the body’s thirst, hunger, and sexual desire and the biological clock that determines our ageing process.

Developing the third eye is the doorway to all things psychic — telepathy, clairvoyance, lucid dreaming and astral projection. The illusion of separation between self and spirit dissolves when the third eye connection is cultivated. Metaphysical ways of being are connected to the third eye, such as how to be awake within the dream, walk between realities and surpass the limitations of humanity.

A blocked third eye or आज्ञा • (ā-jñā • 命令) chakra [आज्ञा चक्र (āgyā cakra, “third eye, the chakra at the eyebrow junction.” 第三隻眼(Third eye),或稱內在眼(Inner eye)、天眼)] is said to lead to confusion, uncertainty, cynicism, jealousy and pessimism. Through an open and vibrant third eye, the highest source of ethereal energy may enter. While the physical eyes perceive the physical world, the third eye sees the true world — a unified whole with an unyielding connection to the spirit. A list of the benefits and abilities the third eye brings include clarity, concentration, perspicuity, bliss, intuition, decisiveness and insight. The third eye has been linked to lucid dreaming, astral projection, quality of sleep, enhanced imagination and aura viewing.
