Midsummer




Strawberry Moon rising
Celebrated on June 24 as a day meant to appreciate all the gifts of nature. The summer solstice marks the longest day of the year and it lands on June 20, but due to the fact that the old Julian calendar marked it differently, the date for Midsummer Day remains June 24. Though the holiday originated in Sweden it is now celebrated almost everywhere else. This year, a full Strawberry Moon rises on this very Thursday, June 24, 2021
