No•Mad

For how long have we not had a permanent middle (ΜέΔ/中), an exclusive hearth?
For once and for ages we only roamed and explored Mother Earth.
We did not populate. Ecology was our true economic measure.
Nomads — not by force but choice, curiosity — and gardeners, learning to live from & by Gaia.
Ownership is a cage. Little boxes, everywhere.
We killed buffaloes and tigers that dare to pretend to enjoy wide home ranges.
Then we started to fortify our abodes.
With the sedentary lifestyle came a dire loss: the free connection of the seven candelabras.
