How it Goes...
道生一,一生二,二生三,三生萬物。
षड्ज, Ṣaḍja/Shadja/Sadja, is the 1st स्वर svara from the 7 स्वर svaras of Hindustani music & Carnatic music. षड्ज, Sadja is the long form of the syllable सा. For simplicity in uttering — while singing the syllable — Sadja is pronounced as Sa (notation - S). It is also written षड्ज in the Devanagri script.
षड् - 6, ज -जन्म Sad is 6, 'H' is giving birth (giving birth to the 6 notes)
षड्ज is 6 in मराठी, Marāṭhī
