ゆとり、is like leaving early enough to get somewhere in order to arrive and be early, so that, when I get there, I have time to look around. Or — after I read a poem — just knowing I can hold it, I can be in that space of the poem. And it can hold me in its space. And I do not have to explain it. I do not have to paraphrase it. I just hold it, and it allows me to see differently.
