Maintenant JE SAIS, JE SAIS QU'ON NE SAIT JAMAIS !

Apologie 21d

O'𝚫『重溫』

Peripatetic minorities are mobile populations moving among settled populations offering a craft or trade.

Stephanie "Juan" Gray, née Suez

Pol put her face into the noose, about to be hanged.
And, at that precise instant, she remembered and saw the world and beyond.
And free she was, even if she did not die, saved at that ultimate moment.

Elizabeth "Polly" Gray, née Shelby

The aunt of Thomas "Tommy" Shelby — the leader of the Peaky Blinders — and his siblings, and treasurer of the Peaky Blinders, Polly originates from a criminal Gypsy family, the Shelbys, daughter of Mr Shelby and Birdie Boswell. She tells her son — Michael Gray, born from her union with a river Gypsy Gray, as his sister, Anna Gray, said husband who died drunk, squeezed between a boat and a lockthat his Grandmother was a Gypsy Princess.
Polly always wears the Black Madonna. Arthur Shelby Sr. calls her Pollyanna, a given name, from Hebrew, derived from Polly — nickname for Mary, alternative for Molly, associated with Tom Sawyer's aunt, 'Polly, put the kettle on,' parrots, Polly Peachum — and Anna  חַנָּה‎ (ḥannâ) of Old Testament, meaning "grace, gracious" — and rare in the real world.
Since she put her head inside the noose, had an almost near-death experience, she believes she is free to do whatever she wants after she realized "when you are dead already you are free." She has regained her second sight faculty and experiences a lack of fear of death.
"Came back when I put my head in the noose. It's like putting your head through a window and seeing the whole world. ... When you've put your head out of that window you can do anything you want, cos there are no rules, cos there are no risks."
Because of this, she can advise Tommy Polly to shake hands with the devils and walk past them.
"We live somewhere between life and death. Waiting to move on. And in the end, we accept it. We shake hands with the devils and we walk past them."

Dao De Jing Chapter Forty-eight — C. Ganson

48

The scholar needs to know more and more each day.
The follower of Dao needs to know less and less each day.

By lessening knowledge one reaches inaction.
By inaction, everything can be done.

The world is won by those who leave it alone.
When one feels compelled to dominate,
the world is already beyond reach.

Dao De Jing Chapter Forty-eight — James Legge

48

(Forgetting knowledge)
He who devotes himself to learning (seeks) from day to day to increase (his knowledge);
he who devotes himself to the Dao (seeks) from day to day to diminish (his doing).
He diminishes it and again diminishes it, till he arrives at doing nothing (on purpose).
Having arrived at this point of non-action, there is nothing which he does not do.
He who gets as his own all under heaven does so by giving himself no trouble (with that end).
If one take trouble (with that end), he is not equal to getting as his own all under heaven.

Dao De Jing Chapter Forty-eight — Arthur Waley

48

Learning consists of adding to one's stock day by day;
The practice of Dao consists in “subtracting day by day,
Subtracting and yet again subtracting
Till one has reached inactivity.
But by this very inactivity
Everything can be activated.”
Those who of old won the adherence of all who live under heaven
All did so not interfering.
Had they interfered,
They would never have won this adherence.

Dao De Jing Chapter Forty-seven — C. Ganson

47

One can know the world without leaving the house.
One can see Dao without looking out the window.

The more you study the less you know.

Thus the truly wise know without travelling,
perceive without seeing, achieve without doing.

Dao De Jing Chapter Forty-seven — James Legge

47 (Surveying what is far-off)

Without going outside his door, one understands (all that takes place) under the sky; without looking out from his window, one sees the Dao of Heaven. The farther that one goes out (from himself), the less he knows.
Therefore the sages got their knowledge without travelling; gave their (right) names to things without seeing them; and accomplished their ends without any purpose of doing so.

Dao De Jing Chapter Forty-seven — Arthur Waley

47

Without leaving his door
He knows everything under heaven.
Without looking out of his window
He knows all the ways of heaven.
For the further one travels
The less one knows.
Therefore the Sage arrives without going,
Sees all without looking,
Does nothing, yet achieves everything.

One this year, a year of 值太岁 which stages a conflict with 太岁, the Grand Duke Jupiter or Grand Commander of the Year, might be worn a 貔貅 píxiū, 貔貅 ㄆㄧˊ ㄒㄧㄡ the mythical auspicious creature with the fierce-looking of a dragon head, horse body and unicorn claws; the winged animal's bold body resembles a lion covered with whitish-grey fur. Legend has it that 貔貅 has a mouth but no anus thus it could gobble up anything without excreting. It is fond of water, gold, silver and jewels and takes wealth from all directions as food. Because of this, 貔貅 has the meaning of bringing in wealth and treasure. Of course, it is capable of warding off evil spirits and bringing good fortune. Some people even believe that it can guard their homes, assist them from being offended by the Grand Duke Jupiter and bring them good luck in a love relationship.
As a result, many modern people would wear a 貔貅.

The chief drawback lies in their emotional instability, which makes it hard for them to have intimate friends. For them, honour is paramount and they are pure, lofty and regardless of what others think, thus miss a lot of opportunities.
Strengths
虎 of O-type blood are frank, cheerful, simple, kind-hearted, quite optimistic and as uncomplicated as children, and never conceal a mood. Also, they are very confident, strong-minded and good at infecting others with a light and happy mood, attracting many friends. Since O-type Tigers are willing to expand their social circle, they have many acquaintances and often use relations to make life more convenient. With a strong sense of justice, they advocate morality, attach importance to honour and integrity, and forget about their own for the sake of faith and honour. Intolerant to evil behaviours, they are ready to help others, especially the weak, for a just cause. Also, they have a strong desire for performance, enjoy the limelight, often encourage colleagues and bring surprise to their love. With an impressive execution, O-type 虎 people are never dilatory, seldom disturbed by external factors or give up until reaching their goals.
