名可名,非常名

Nowhere, in the eighty and one chapters of the《道德經 》Dàodé jīng ― in any of its verse, whatever the version is  can a reference to music, poetry, even eloquence or more generally art ― as an expression of the  ― be found. It all comes under the 'concept' of 名 chosen as a rendering of a  resonance, i.e. a local development of what is inherent to the 道.

道德經 第一章

道可道,非常道。
名可名,非常名。
無名天地之始;
有名萬物之母。
故常無欲,以觀其妙;
常有欲,以觀其徼。
此兩者,同出而異名,同謂之玄。
玄之又玄,衆妙之門。

   1. THE TAO THAT CAN BE TOLD

    The true Tao escapes definition,
    Likewise, Tao is unburdened by Name.
    Heaven and Earth originated unburdened by Name,
    However, Name serves well to create All Things.

    Unburdened by desire, the essence of Tao unfolds.
    With desire, its manifestations alone appear.
    The same source serves both essence and manifestation.

    While viewed differently, both are characterized by deep mystery.
    Deep mystery ― wondrous mystery 
    A gateway to the very essence of existence.
