Can the Old — mounted on an Ox — cross & ford altogether with the Infant — the 道 Prince?
Urizen of no faith — yet quite unreasonable too — took any faith away, leaving a vacuum.
That trust was not yet misplaced in any creed — of any kind.
It was the golden amber vestige of immortality I saved at the time I was illiterate, non-verbal.
The elixir.
Natheless the storm, the thunder, the lightning came down on us both, Ur & I.
Oh, he did not thrash it on purpose.
In him culminated the pangs of too many conflicts, personal and worldly, the torments of too many episodes of fear, dread from childhood when one had to show he was man enough, tough enough, somewhere in la Villette a borough of Apaches.
And the long, silent decay of his own father.
So, at the dead-end of that road, one morning he sat in that very fatherly chair and capitulated, gave in to his tremors.
In a cataleptic trance, he went to visit the chaos of Focus 23.
And deranged, outcast he came back.
New bolts of lightning — man-made electroshocks — were imposed down on him.
He turned into a vegetative state, only returning home by the grace of the Queen, Reine Renée.
Till his departure to his own place in the belief territories, that shadow was perpetually on his forehead.
His joy was fake, his angst permanent, his pretences numerous, his vainglory ominous.
Then, that was the landscape, the atmosphere, the world to us all.
I was Born in the state (era) of दुःषमा Duḥṣamā°, an iron-clad age.
