The word river comes from the Sanskrit nadhya. It is also called Sarita in Sanskrit itself.

* ♒Aquārius

• Aquārius — from aqua (“water”) +‎ -ārius (suffix, belonging to) i.e. of or pertaining to water — the zodiac sign for the water carrier, ruled by Uranus covers January 20 - February 18 (tropical astrology) or February 15 - March 14 (sidereal astrology).
• The Age of Aquarius, in astrology, is either the current or forthcoming astrological age, depending on the method of calculation. Astrologers maintain that an astrological age is a product of the earth's slow precessional rotation and lasts for 2,160 years, on average (one Great Year equals a 25,920-year period of precession / 12 zodiac signs = 2,160 years).
• There are various methods of calculating the boundaries of an astrological age. In sun-sign astrology, the first sign is Aries, followed by Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces, whereupon the cycle returns to Aries and through the zodiacal signs again. Astrological ages proceed in the opposite direction ("retrograde" in astronomy). Therefore, the Age of Aquarius follows the Age of Pisces.
• The water carrier represented by the zodiacal constellation Aquarius (Υδροχόου) is Γανυμήδης Ganymēdēs, a beautiful Phrygian youth. ανυμήδης Ganymēdēs was the son of Τρος • Tros, king of Τροίας • Troy (according to Lucian, he was also the son of Δάρδᾰνος • Dárdanos). While tending to his father's flocks on Mount Ίδη • Ida, Ganymede was spotted by Δία • Zeus. The king of gods fell in love with him and flew down to the mountain in the form of a large bird, whisking Γανυμήδης Ganymēdēs away to the heavens. Ever since the boy has served as cupbearer to the gods. Ovid has Orpheus sing the tale.
