Focus' Switch

Given the many expressions — from the numerous and various actual sirens from all venues — that reach us, there are as many accumulating elements that we must discard, consequently — to make peace with ourselves — the first being that amorous and embarrassing clinging to an identity that does not reflect who we are, at all.

As well as for the sake of the earthlings of all the three domains and the four kingdoms.

道德經 第十九章

絕聖棄智, 民利百倍.

絕仁棄義, 民復孝慈.

絕巧棄利, 民有無賊.

絕巧棄利, 盜無 ? 者

此三者以為文不足, 

故令有所屬.

見素抱樸.

少私寡欲. 

絕聖棄智，民利百倍；

絕仁棄義，民復孝慈；

絕巧棄利，盜賊無有。

此三者以為文不足。

故令有所屬：見素抱樸，少私寡欲。

19.

Get rid of sanctity.

People will understand the truth

and be happier.

Get rid of morality.

People will respect each other

and do what's right.

Get rid of value and profit.

People will not steal

if they do not desire.

If that's not possible, go to Plan B:

Be simple. Be real.

Do your work as best you can.

Don't think about what you get for it.

Stay focused. Get rid of all your crap.

"Refuse the wise, dismiss the intellects,

The folk will reap a hundredfold;

Refuse kin-kindness, dismiss due service,

The folk again will love as child and parent;

Refuse craft-skill, reject all gain,

No thief no robber will be found –

These three as text do not suffice.

Commandments must be put into practice:

Plain appearance, humble habits,

Owning little, craving less.

Reject the teaching of the young

And thereby suffer no distress."
