A cutting-edge exploration of where I came from, where I am going and my role in this life and beyond.

Consciousness explorer Robert A. Monroe RAM defined Focus 27 as the area beyond the limits of the Earth-Life System. Exploration 27, known as X27 to us, Monroe Institute participants, has taken us on a cutting-edge journey to a place of unlimited creation, using audio-guidance technology.

The exploration took me beyond The Park and Reception Center – which I explored in earlier Monroe retreats – to four unexplored areas of consciousness, the Education Center, Planning Center, Healing & Rejuvenation Center and Coordination Center, in exquisite detail.

Focus 27 is a very powerful state of awareness that offers vast opportunities to connect with creativity, information and healing on this quest for self-knowledge, to rediscover the true self as it opens the mind to the universal love energy which encompasses all the peacefulness, joy and essence of it.

While in the Focus 27 centres, I was able to take away unexpected knowledge and insights to support this personal consciousness journey—past, present and future, to receive insight into the core of it. Like I did, Visitors frequently retrieve historical data, investigate artefacts and explore ideas for new creations. Also, I connected with nonphysical intelligences, as it is common when making use of Focus 27 as a springboard for visiting Focus 34 and Focus 35.

In this state of regeneration and rejuvenation, I did, still does, invite physical healing, emotional healing or release, forgiveness, or the chance to strengthen 氣 the basic life force, these being my VI choices.

“I-there consciousness” or IT—Ram’s term for an energetic composite of all my personalities and experiences from other lifetimes that have informed my understanding of the planet, the universe and myself— is readily available in Focus 27.

Thus, in 27, I knew where I came from and where I was going afterwards. As I returned from this journey beyond the Earth-Life System, I brought experiences from “there” that can be anchored “here.” I sensed a deeper connection to daily life, greater awareness and understanding of myself, or a clearer understanding of reality. Amongst other participants, many brought back a new skill set that included better exploratory skills and stronger nonphysical communication skills.

The States of Consciousness and Focus Levels
As a result of extensive experiential and brainwave research at The Monroe Institute, a simple system of labels (called Focus Levels) was devised to indicate various states or phases of consciousness. These labels are a means of neutral identification and are used extensively as part of the training process & experiential programs.

Focus 01 – Normal, everyday waking consciousness.  Completely in phase with physical matter reality.  Also referred to as “C1 Consciousness”.
Focus 10 – The physical body is deeply relaxed while the mind remains conscious, awake and alert. “Mind awake, body asleep.”
Focus 11 – The Access Channel – the ultimate communication channel to all levels of awareness -mental, physical, and emotional.  Opened during each Human Plus exercise.
Focus 12 – A state of expanded awareness while the body remains deeply relaxed and asleep.
Focus 15 – A state of No-Time. Consciousness is now far removed from physical body signals. Linear time is no longer relevant to experience.
Focus 21 – On the very edge of perception of the time/space continuum. Mind remains fully conscious and active.
Focus 22 – On the border between time/space and non-physical states of being. Comatose.
Focus 23 – The condition in which an individual may find him or herself immediately following physical death.
Focus 24 – The site of non-physical activity generated by simple or primitive religious or cultural beliefs.
Focus 25 – The expression of the major organized religious beliefs in recent human history.
Focus 26 – Here are identified certain areas, few in number, containing the structures and knowledge of various highly individual religious and other beliefs based on direct experience of self.
(Focus Levels 24 to 26 are referred to as the Belief System Territories, and are explored extensively during the Lifeline program)
Focus 27 – The edge of human thought capacity. The site of a way-station (not a terminus) for rest and recovery from the trauma of physical death.
Focus 34/35 – The area of the Gathering. Beings from many other locations within the physical universe are gathered here to witness the upcoming Earth Changes. First mentioned in Bob Monroe’s second book, Far Journeys.
Focus 42 – I-There cluster consciousness.
Focus 49 – Sea of I-There clusters.

This is a description of the secret door that goes in the backside of the dwarves' mountain. The two "Th."'s are the initials of the creators of the map (Thror and Thrain). This text was written on the side of the map given to Thorin next to the image of a hand pointing at the side of the dwarves' mountain.

"Stand by the grey stone (hw)when the thrush knocks and the setting sun with the last light of Durin's Day will shine upon the keyhole.
Th."

This is a more exact definition of how to find the secret door, provided by Thrain. These runes were written in a special ink so that the would only show up under full moonlight in the middle of Thorin's map. Bilbo follows the directions and finds the door as described.
"The Hobbit, or, There and Back Again; being the record of a year's journey by Bilbo Baggins of Hobbiton. Complied by J.R.R. Tolkien and published by Houghton Mifflin and Co."

A somewhat humorous riddle created by Tolkien to challenge readers to translate runes on their own. All the other passages have translations provided in the text, but this one has to be deduced from the translations of the others. There are new runes in this text (the "ea" combination, for example), but Tolkien explains some of these in the forward.

Here are all the known runes as provided by the above texts and the forward in "The Hobbit". The double letters are not always used (for example, the "nd" rune never appears in the word "and", and the "st" rune was not used for "stand"), and the "x" and "z" runes are very rarely used. Occasionally, it appears, double vowels might be condensed into one rune (note the "oo" in "door" in the first example has been reduced to a single "o").

° (Focus 27 is the area beyond the limits of the Earth-Life System, characterised by a greatest free will choice for its inhabitants, created by humans and often resembling physical earth environments, but where contact and communication are open between all residents. Many people living in Focus 27 are providing assistance to new arrivals in their adjustment to living in this Afterlife Area. It is a highly organized and structured field. There are here Centers of activity providing for the needs of human beings in their continuing development in the Thereafter. Centres like the ones for Education, Life Review, Health and Rejuvenation, Planning, Scheduling, Rehabilitation, Humour and many others. These Centers also coordinate activities in the physical world to assist in human development)

* Another name for Egypt was Kmt “Black-land” (Coptic Keme), the narrow and very fertile Nile Valley, as opposed to the surrounding desert, known as Egyptian dšrt “red-land, desert” or Deshr'et = Latin desertum “desert.” Farmers or peasants were referred to as “rmtk ni Kemet" people of the black land. Therefore, prior to foreign invasion, indigenous Africans called it Kmt (phonetically Kemet) in indigenous African languages of Medu. The name had nothing to do with the colour of people or the colour of the land. It related to the depth of spiritual commitment. Only materialistic invaders (and those reliant on them) who have little or no knowledge of the indigenous spiritual system in ignorance made such erroneous claims. Kem spirituality has three major branches corresponding to the three autogenic Neters (trinity = three Neters, 3-Divinity) of Kemetic cosmogony, namely: Ra, Imin, Ptah in the Holy Drama promulgated by the priesthood of Uast.

In pre-invasion times, There were 3-cities corresponding to each of the 3-autogenic Neters. The names of the cities were: Misra, Menefer (located in Menefer was a temple named in honour of the divinity Ptah called Het-Ptah-ka), and Uast.

Other names for Egypt include BЗqt “Moringa-land,” PЗ-tЗ-mri “The-Beloved-Land” (Greek Ptímuris). For “Lower Egypt” one finds TЗ-mḥyTЗ-mḥ(w) “Papyrus-Land; Delta; Land of the North” (Coptic NemhitMhit), while “Upper Egypt” was Ḫn-Nḫn “South-Shrine,” PЗ-TЗ-rśy “The-Land-Southward” ( ➔ Biblical Pathros), and TЗ-Šmˁw “Land-of-Barley,” while south of Aswan the territory was called TЗ-styḪnt-ḥn-nfr, or Nbw “Nubia; Gold.”

Much later, when Memphis became the capital of Egypt, the name of that capital Ḥwt-kЗ-Ptaḥ "House-of-the-Spirit-of-Ptah" (i.e., the Temple of the god Ptah) became the source of the name "Egypt/ Aegyptus/ Egyptus" (E-gy-pt; Coptic ekepta), and Greek Αἴγυπτος in Homer as both Nile River and country and in Appollodorus (Bibliotheca, 2:1:4-5), as the eponymous son of Belus & Anchinoe, who first conquers Egypt in Greek myth. Greek invaders named the entire country after the temple in Menefer called Het-Ptah-Ka…to arrive at Ei-gyp-tos.

After its unification under one pharaoh in about 3100 BC, Upper & Lower Egypt were known by dual names such as TЗwy “Two-lands,” and ʼIdbwy “Two-shores,” which were translated into Hebrew as Miṣrayîm “Two-borders” (Genesis 10:6,13-20), as also in Ugaritic Mṣrm (= Babylonian mat-Mi-ṣir). This is the source of the modern Arabic name of Egypt, MaṣrMiṣr مِصر, مَصر. Arab invaders named the entire country after the city of Misra…and to this day the country is still called Misr (not Egypt) in Arabic.

Misra in indigenous African language means “Sons of Ra” and Het-Ptah-Ka means Temple of Ptah (literally House of Ptah’s Ka… 𓂓 not meaning soul but being an aspect of the spiritual entity following the transition to non-material dimensions (duat, amentet, restau, etc).

HD: Hieroglyphic Definitives: …Turns out the term Coptic is of Greek origin from Coptos and the related Arabic Qift aka Qoft aka Quft.

Surmised by some that the term Copt and Aigyptos/Aiguptos came from the Chem phrase Het Ka Ptah (House of Twin Spirit Living as Ptah), the phrasing is more likely Het Gebtu, [A Gebt, Ah Gebt, Ah Gebtu…] or Gebt (Gebt + [The Greek] –os = Gebtos), as confirmed by the “city” Gebtu, Chem being the very same location today known as Qift. With the evolution of culture in Chem, noted is that the term Copt did not always refer to a type of Christianity or a specific ethnicity of people.

In fact, the term Gebt, at times, mistaken with Nut (Noot), is the female derivative of the neuter, Geb, and masculine, Gebf. In general, the word means Land and specifically Universal Material forms, a deity, metaphysical angel/physics angle (Mother-Neuter-Father Earth or any earth/matter):

The spelling of Chem with a Ch (K): Chemistry, Al Chemi (Alchemy) - An Arabic term for Chem, etc.
Chem in the language can mean dark, black, white depending on what determinatives accompany the base word in HieroglyphicsThough the ancient Egyptians referred to the “their” land with many labels such as Ta Meri, Chem seems to have been repeated and stuck most.

Basically, there are three groups of names which have applied to Egypt. In the early period of Egypt, during the Old Kingdom, Egypt was referred to as Kemet (Kermit), or simply Kmt , which means the Black land. They called themselves "remetch en Kermet", which means the "People of the Black Land". The term refers to the rich soil found in the Nile Valley and Delta. But it was also sometimes referred to as Deshret, or dshrt , which refers to the "Red Land", or deserts of which Egypt is mostly comprised.

Later, Egyptians referred to their country as "Hwt-ka-Ptah" (Ht-ka-Ptah, or Hout-ak Ptah) , which means "Temple for Ka of Ptah", or more properly, "House of the Ka of Ptah" Ptah was one of Egypt's earliest Gods. As in modern Egypt, this was both a name for the administrative centre of Egypt, what we call Memphis today, as well as the name of the country as a whole.

Egypt, as many people of the world refer to the country today, is a derivative of this ancient name. Even today, people who speak one language often change the spelling of words in another language because of the difficulty they may have in pronouncing some of the sounds of that foreign language. Hence, in pronouncing Hwt-ka-Ptah, the Greeks changed this world to Aegyptus (Aigyptos), which they used in their literature as the name of an Egyptian King (perhaps Ramesses, though in a fictional manner), the Nile River and for the country itself. We find the word used by Homer in his famous "Odyssey. We believe the Greeks had difficulties with the Egyptian pronunciation of the letter "H" at the beginning and end of Hwt-ka-Ptah.

Today, the word Egyptians often use for their country is Misr. This is probably derived from an ancient term, Mizraim which may have itself been derived from an ancient Egyptian word, md-r  mdr , which people in the region called Egypt. Misr is an Arabic name simply meaning "country", and part of the tradition of this term in as a name for Egypt comes from the Islamic Quran. The term can also mean "fortress", or "castellated" , which refers to the natural protective borders of Egypt which protected the country from invaders. This name can be extended as Misr El Mahrosa.

As a final note, it is interesting that the origin of "Coptic", a word which we today use to refer to the Christians of Egypt (and actually, the principal Christian church of Ethiopia, as well others throughout the world related to this form of Christianity), actually is derived from the word Copti. The Arabs who invaded Egypt in, like the Greeks, had problems pronouncing the term, Aegypti, which means "Egyptian citizen". Essentially, they changed the word to Copti. Of course, at that time, Egypt was a Christian nation, so the term became limited to actual Egyptian Christians as the country became more and more Muslim.

Conclusion: The English name "Egypt" is derived from the Ancient Greek "Aígyptos" ("Αἴγυπτος"), via Middle French "Egypte" and Latin "Aegyptus". It is reflected in early Greek Linear B tablets as "a-ku-pi-ti-yo". The adjective "aigýpti-"/"aigýptios" was borrowed into Coptic as "gyptios", and from there into Arabic as "qubṭī", back formed into "قبط" ("qubṭ"), whence English "Copt". The Greek forms were borrowed from Late Egyptian (Amarna) Hikuptah or "Memphis", a corruption of the earlier Egyptian name

"Miṣr" (Arabic pronunciation: [mesˤɾ]; "مِصر") is the Classical Quranic Arabic and the modern official name of Egypt, while "Maṣr" (Egyptian Arabic pronunciation: [mɑsˤɾ]مَصر) is the local pronunciation in Egyptian Arabic. The name is of Semitic origin, directly cognate with other Semitic words for Egypt such as the Hebrew "מִצְרַיִם‎" ("Mitzráyim"). The oldest attestation of this name for Egypt is the Akkadian "mi-iṣ-ru" ("miṣru") related to miṣru/miṣirru/miṣaru, meaning "border" or "frontier". The Neo-Assyrian Empire used the derived term Rassam cylinder Mu-ṣur.jpgMu-ṣur.

This name is commonly vocalised as Kemet but was probably pronounced [kuːmat] in ancient Egyptian. The name is realised as kēme and kēmə in the Coptic stage of the Egyptian language and appeared in early Greek as Χημία (Khēmía). Another name was ⟨tꜣ-mry⟩ "land of the riverbank". The names of Upper and Lower Egypt were Ta-Sheme'aw (⟨tꜣ-šmꜥw⟩) "sedge land" and Ta-Mehew (⟨tꜣ mḥw⟩) "northland", respectively.

Africa’s ancient name is Alkebulan, meaning, Mother of mankind or Garden of Eden. It is the oldest and only word of indigenous origin.
