a warrior goddess as well as a goddess of healing. She is depicted as a lioness. She was seen as the protector of the pharaohs and led them in warfare. Upon death, Sekhmet continued to protect them, bearing them to the afterlife. Sekhmet is a solar deity, sometimes called the daughter of Ra and often associated with the goddesses Hathor and Bastet. She bears the Uraeus, which associates her with Wadjet and royalty, and the solar disk.
Sekhmet's name comes from the Ancient Egyptian word sḫm, which means "power or might". Sekhmet's name (Ancient Egyptian: sḫmt, /'sɛχmit/, later Old Coptic: ⲥⲁⲭⲙⲓ) is thus translated as "the (one who is) powerful or mighty". She also was given titles such as the "(One) Before Whom Evil Trembles", "Mistress of Dread", "Lady of Slaughter" and "She Who Mauls".

Tigger & the Whoop-De-Dooper Bounce song:
  • TTFN to worries as I pounce in the most Tigger-ific way ever with Winnie the Pooh’s energetic pal: the one and only Tigger!
  • “Hello! I’m Tigger!”
    I’m the only Tigger!”
  • “Glad to meet ya! Name’s Tigger. T-I-double guh-er! That spells Tigger!”
    “Tiggers don’t jump, they bounce!”
  • “It’s a dangerous path I bounce… but I bounce it alone. Because the Hundred Acre Wood needs a hero, Pooh Bear! And I’m the only one.
“Well, I better be bouncing along now, chum! Cheerio! Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!”
"...while patience (XIIII) and fortitude (XI) and strength (XI) in the physical and material and mental self is constantly under stress and strain, know that only those who endure unto the end are counted as the faithful to the trust, to the opportunities, to those conditions that become a part of every soul's experience."
Edgar Cayce reading 1192-7 (XIVIIIIII-VII)
Fortitude is a synonym of strength. As nouns, the difference between strength and fortitude is that strength is the quality of being strong while fortitude is mental or emotional strength that enables courage in the face of adversity (inner strength, moxie, resolve).
